Hello Lovelies!
It will officially be spring in 18 days! YAY!!!! can you tell I'm excited? I think out of all the seasons spring is my most absolute favorite. Bring on the cookouts, bonfires, gardening, walks, more time with friends and family. I cant wait to start my garden. I already have where I want my flowers and plants sketched out in my binder. Now its just a waiting game for the snow to melt. Some seeds I am going to start soon inside then just plant them in the ground when its time. The other hindrance is they are doing construction on our apartment building so there is building materials and stuff everywhere. My garden and sod from last year are absolutely trashed :(. I'm going to have to start from the beginning again. Which is fine last year I just planted stuff sporadically with no plan at all. It ended up not working out so well. I planted short flowers in a spot they ended up getting washed out, tall flowers in front of short ones so the short ones ended up dying from little to no sun. This year I want more variety and colors.
I have been doing fairly well as far as frojoes are concerned. I have had 3 1/2 since the last time I posted on the 19th. That's like a record for me! I'm proud of myself for actually sticking to it. Starting tomorrow I am going to be focusing more on eating healthier. I feel like making small changes is what really works for me. Normally when I want to lose weight and start getting healthier I have all these huge grandiose ideas and then cant achieve them and get discouraged and just give up. So this time I decided to start with little things like giving up fro joes, making healthier food choices, exercise one day more a week then I usually do, drink one glass of water instead of a soda. Stuff like that so that its not so overwhelming.
I have started with a new counselor and she is awesome. I feel like I am more willing to work on the hard stuff with her then with any other counselor I have been to in the past. I think that has also helped me want to work more on myself because I am talking about stuff and dealing with past issues that I haven't dealt with before.
Because of all the construction and the workers in and out of the house putting in new windows my craft area has been in disarray for the past week. I have so many projects I need to work on and finish but not having a proper work space makes it difficult to get things done. My goal for this week is to finish my quilt and start on my friends Autism quilt. I would also like to draw up a plan for cleaning and organizing my the basement. My basement isn't terrible so I think if I dedicate a day to working on it I can get it done. The only thing I'm worried about is my allergy to dust I'm just gonna have to wear a face mask and deal with it.
Have Great Week!
