Good afternoon lovelies! I hope all is well with you this fine day. Today is the first day since Friday that it has been partially sunny out. And may I say I am grateful for Mr. Sun to show his face today. If you live in New England then you know how depressing it can be when its snowy and gloomy outside during the winter. Even though I got a lot of cooking and cleaning done its nice to get out of the house today. I was starting to get cabin fever!
So tomorrow I am going to be cooking up my first whole turkey. It has been defrosting in the refrigerator for 5 days. I think I am going to be using the bag method because it seems to be the easiest way. I'm kind of nervous as to how it will turn out. I think me and my daughter are going to be eating turkey for the next month. Tonight I am going to be making a plan as to what i want to do with all the turkey. I am also going to making turkey stock for the first time as well and freezing some. Oh course I will let you all know how it comes out! Make sure to check back for how i will be using the turkey meat and stock thru out the next few weeks.
